This is why we need to keep Allard's seat in Republican hands. They really dig deep to provide us with the comedy gold. What do you get when you add a Senator with a lewd conduct arrest to one with one identified as the client of a DC prostitution firm?
Two United States Senators implicated in extramarital sexual activity have named themselves as co-sponsors of S. J. RES. 43, dubbed the Marriage Protection Amendment. If ratified, the bill would amend the United States Constitution to state that marriage "shall consist only of the union of a man and a woman."

Colorado's own Wayne Allard has signed on as a co-sponsor so he can 'protect' our marriages alongside of such great protectors of their own marriages. Well, I'll say this much, if it weren't for homosexuality then Sen. Craig's  marriage would be a lot safer. So they do have that.
Aaron Silverstein :: Larry Craig (R-Mensroom), David Vitter (R-Bordello) & W. Allard (R-CO) cosponsor Marriage Amendment

Allard (5.00 / 2)
Conversation I just had...

Me: Can you believe this "Do as I say not as I do" crowd? Didn't the New Testament come down a lot harder on hypocrites then homosexuals?"

Her: Well, maybe they are ashamed of what they have done and want to stop others from making the same mistakes.

Me: I can buy that, but it makes me wonder what Allard did that he is repenting for.

Her: I don't know that much about him except that he is a veterinarian.

"I don't know that much about him except that he is a veterinarian."

Really, really cold.

I love it.

What did Craig do?

This Just In (4.00 / 3)
My parents called from California. Their marriage is still holding strong since the institution of same-sex marriage.

When asked if they felt threatened in any way since the court ruling my mother replied, "Are you kidding, no! But did I tell you about our neighbor's Pomeranian? He did the cutest thing......."

So, I'm curious. (4.00 / 1)
Since they seem so hellbent on saving marriage, are they going to outlaw divorce next?  Maybe they should get divorced quickly before they work to outlaw it.  Oh and Senator Allard, thanks again.  For absolutely nothing.  We have huge economic disparity, a steadily rising unemployment rate, low interest rates on our accounts so we can't save up as much for retirement, a war that has been raging for too long that we should never have been fighting and a health care crisis.  Oh, and a city down south that is at least still somewhat in ruins due to Republican Government inaction, but preventing Gays from getting married is just so much more important than that.  And Allard proves once again what a waste-of-space he has been as a Senator.

If You Listen to Fools, the Mob Rules!!!!

What's next? Sharia law? (0.00 / 0)
Should be stone those who commit adultery?
